Of course, you should always start in indoor settings, and work your way up to an actual mountain or cliff-face in your vicinity (or even head for a rock climbing vacation far away), and you will need the support of a trainer and a professional instructor. This is a great way to build your upper body, and you will burn more than 500 calories during a 1 hour climb.
This list should be called ancient fitness in fact, we got the title wrong, because this method of exercise is more than 3,000 years old. If you never heard of it, don’t worry, it’s just getting reintroduced as a slower style of workout, and if you are into meditation, Tai Chi and yoga, you will love this Qi Gong thing as well. Combining breathing, balance and martial arts, Qi Gong is a group workout that will help you burn 360 calories per hour on average, but will also help you relieve stress.
During the 1990s, the Columbian dancer Alberto Perez invented this fun style of exercise and dance-fitness workout. Today, Zumba is a worldwide phenomenon and in more than 200, 000 locations in the world you can find a Zumba center if you are interested. Combining various styles of dance, hip hop, samba, salsa, mambo and aerobic elements, this form of exercise offers several ways to lose weight and stay fit, and allegedly you can use up 500 to 1000 calories per hour. This is pretty much a self-explanatory form of exercise, and you probably heard about LARPING if you are, well, “a little bit nerdy” is the correct term.
